What was Nostalgická myš in the past?

In 1995, Mr. Petr Pěnkava turned a former pigsty into a multi-purpose inn, with a space for cultural events, tying into his vision the myth of the local hero Cimrman. Consequently, the famous Cimrman talk-shows were held and filmed here and broadcasted on national TV, as well as the radio. Jiří and Ondřej Suchý brothers also left their footprint in this place, making it a landmark of Czech cultural and theatrical tradition.

For our thirsty and hungry customers

In “Nostalgická myš” we aim to flatter our customers’ taste buds, but don’t expect to be handed a never changing menu, bound in leather. Captain Martin is the boss on board and in the kitchen, which is an assurance that we serve nostalgic food, something like grandma’s cooking… but before all, we use fresh ingredients and locally grown produce when available. The menu is full of surprises and changes with the weather. In any case, you will always find freshly baked pastries and the well-known ‘větrníky’ and ‘věnečeky’ cakes.

We offer a large variety of soft drinks and local, as well as foreign alcoholic beverages. The Beer on tap comes from Pilsen while in the summer, we try to serve a wider selection of brews.
